Jerzens is a part of the Pitztal, a big and challenging winter-sport area with more then 54 kilometer slopes. Furthermore there is an enormous amount of off-piste!! The area of Jerzens is a separate area on the Hochzeiger. The high location makes the area very certain of snow. Therefore it is that the winter-sport season starts very early, opening 7 december, and doesnt end till late april.
The area has varying slopes, from blue to black, en from prepared to Deep Snow. The slopes offer something for everyone, it’s no miracle that Bennie Raich comes from this area and still always trains here. On the way you’ll come across a few nice pubs and mountain cabins.
The slopes of the Hochzeiger and the Zirmbahn lay a bit hidden on the forest-rich side of the mountain. These descends belong to some of the best in the area. First you can go of the black slopes of the Hochzeiger, to then have a delicious lunch at the Tanz alm. It also is a paradise for beginners, semi-advanced, carvers and snowboarders. The slopes are hard, flat and well prepared.

Do you want something else for the après-ski for a change, if that is the case try the Schirmbar on the bottom of the piste. It is definantly worth the effort to make a visit to the Hennenstall in the evening.
Every Tuesday there is the Ski Show, at 20:45, thrilling and sensation jumps, summersaults and big fireballs, at the top near the gondola, extra transports with the ski buses are arranged and keep driving to late tuesday night.
Long story short, a lot of fun in and around our town and inn
