Hochzeiger
The ski area Pitztal – Hochzeiger is located in Tirol, Austria. The area reaches from 1450 to 2450 meters altitude. In total there are 54 kilometres of slopes. 12 kilometres of this is blue, 32 kilometres is red and 10 kilometres is black.
In total there are 9 ski lifts belonging to the villages of Arzl, Jerzens, Wenns and Sankt Leonhard im Pitztal. The area is ideal for a holiday with a large group, beginners, advanced and experts for all tastes. Because the area is not too large and you always come back to a central point you will not easily lose each other. Piste or off piste here you will find it!
Pitztal – Hochzeiger is suitable for every winter sportsman. In this ski area there are nice slopes, but also, as said before, a few challenging black slopes. For children there is even a private ski area called Pitzis Kinderbergpark. They can get the hang of skiing on a practice meadow.
Snowboarders
Especially for snowboarders there is a fun park where they can try out new jumps and show off the most beautiful stunts. And there is also plenty of opportunity to safely go off piste powder popping, there are wide stretches between the slopes where you can ride when it has snowed.

Rent all your equipment at home, so that everything is ready in the shop when you arrive!
Booking at home gives you the following advantages:

Ski Depot
As a guesthouse we offer ski depots directly at the slopes.
At a low price you can store your equipment in your own private safe directly at the slopes, so you don’t have to walk back to the guesthouse with all your equipment. During the night your equipment will be dried and disinfected so that everything is fresh and dry in the morning.
To reserve a safe you can send us an email or ask for it on arrival.
In the guesthouse we also have a small ski basement where you can store your equipment.
Free ski course for beginners in Pitzis Kinderland
Pitzis Kinderland is the place to be for children up to 5.99 years of age in the coming winter. In addition to several children Ski lifts, child-friendly equipment, games, fun and action, beginners at the Hochzeiger ski area in Jerzens can enjoy free childcare and free ski lessons with top-trained ski instructors.
The free ski course programme is valid for the following period:
07.12.-18.12.2020, 11.01.-22.01.2021, 08.03.-26.03.2021
The courses are divided into two blocks: 9:15 am to 10:45 am and 11 am to 12:30 am.
The ski courses take place daily from Monday to Friday during the mentioned period. On weekends there is no official programme, but Pitzis Kinderland is of course available for free use under organisational supervision. The free tickets for the ski courses and supervision can be easily booked through the online shop of the Hochzeiger-Pitztal ski school.
As usual, the Bambini free ski pass will continue to enable families to enjoy an affordable winter experience – throughout the entire Pitztal Valley. If one parent buys a ski pass, children under 10 years of age receive a free Bambini free ski pass in addition.

March 16, 2019 Jagerhof Pitzal is een heerlijk pension! Lekker ontbijt heel divers. Hele aardige gastvrouw en gastheer, daarbij een super omgeving. Fijn gewandeld, gerodeld en wezen skiën/snowborden.
